RICKIE FOWLER RECORDED his first PGA Tour win in 17 months last night, despite the best efforts of a sprinkler head on the fourth.
The 28-year-old carded a one-over-par 71 in his final round but still finished four shots clear of the chasing pack and the result sees him move back into the top-10 in golf’s world ranking.
It was an eventful final round for the American; he recorded a bogey at the fourth after a sprinkler head trapped his ball much like a crazy golf shot.

He would go on to record a double-bogey two holes later but recovered on the back nine, hitting three early birdies before coming home bogey, bogey with the tournament already won.
Ireland’s Graeme McDowell finished in joint 14th on -4 after recording a final round of 69.
